Susan Murray

This bad assed Black Country lass takes no prisoners with her irreverent, close to the knuckle and honest humour. She’ll have you laughing well into the next millennium with her razor sharp cynicism.

Winner of the first ever Jongleurs Competition and a seasoned regular on the circuit, Susan has emerged as one of the best female stand-ups around.

“She has the mentality of a spiteful 14 yr old boy! Very admirable in a young lady!” Arthur Smith

“Susan Murray’s baffled every-woman persona clocks a dry, intelligent wit.” Stewart Lee

“Mainstream success written all over her..brightly energetic, a real talent” Edinburgh Guide.com

“A right cheeky little lass who oscillates brilliantly and wildly between characters, accents, stories and banging the mike on her head” – Three Weeks

Rudi Lickwood

As the top black comedian on the UK comedy circuit, Rudi Lickwood is far more than just a stand-up. Awarded status in the ‘Black 100+’ awards for the greatest Black British Achievers, Rudi’s inclusion offered great acknowledgement for years of work challenging the way black communities are viewed from within and by others.

Using his sense of humour and razor sharp material, Rudi has built an outstanding list of Radio and Television projects. With a super confident playful personality and oozing charisma, his infectious charm has made him a desirable commodity.

Line-up of comedians:

Kevin Shepherd – MC

Colin Owens – opening act

Paul Dennis – middle act

Paul Sinha – headline act

Kevin Shepherd

“Kevin Shepherd is a charismatic young man with a sharp wit and cheeky humour the audience was taunted, with varying degrees of force. But only the faint-hearted or excessively squeamish failed to warm to such an amiable battering, and, after all, audience involvement is what stand-up is all about.” – Bahrain Extra. Bahrain.

“He then gave way to Kevin Shepherd, who packed the next 20 or so minutes with as many jokes as some comedians manage in an hour. He switched between anecdotal and punchline based humour with ease, and left us eager for more.” – BBC Lincolnshire.

“Assured stage presence, deadpan delivery and good gags.” – Last Laugh. Sheffield.

“Kevin’s friendly face and light touch comedy was a hit with the Knutters. He got hold of the audience and held them to the end, they really listened and laughed.” – King Knut’s Club. Peterborough.

Paul Sinha

“Sinha’s wonderfully uncluttered one-liners are delivered with the crisp clarity of cut glass, but, crucially, his set retains an engaging warmth. He doesn’t so much walk the line between controversy and outrage as use it for a skipping rope. Highly original.” Metro, June 2005

“Universal anecdotes as warmly delivered as you would find anywhere… it’s a pleasure listening to him” - Steve Bennett, Chortle

“His confidence on stage was excellent and his talent for ad-libbing and summoning gags off the cuff were very funny” – BBC Online

“A tour de force of humor and insightful observation” – BBC Online

“Wonderfully inventive and intelligent” – Evening Standard

“One of the most consistently funny acts on the circuit today” – The Last Laugh Comedy Club
